How to Get Started
The quickest and easiest way to volunteer is to apply online through the Do-it website. This is the national website for volunteering. You can search by post code and type of interest or opportunity you are looking for. You can complete your application on line and indicate which opportunities you are interested in. Your application will come direct to the staff at EPNAVCO if it is a local opportunity. We will then email the contact details to you and also inform the organization that you interested in volunteering with them.
If you don’t have access to a computer you can ring us for an application form, which we will post out to you. EPNAVCO office is open 9.00am to 4.30pm. EPNAVCO’s telephone number is 0151 356 7358, if you ring out of hours you can leave a message and we will post out a form.

Another way is to contact either Liz or Irene, who are the volunteer workers. If you need to talk over your options you can make an appointment to call in to the EPNAVCO office. We are situated above the Indoor Market on the 1st floor.
We also have regular Volunteer Fairs you can attend. To keep up to date and know when our latest events are, why not follow us on Twitter or Facebook? This will give you the opportunity to meet the community groups, charities and organizations wishing to recruit volunteers. This is a great way to shop around.
Getting started – anyone starting as a volunteer, wanting to record their progress in their new role can request a “Volunteer Induction Booklet”. Ring Irene or Liz at EPNAVCO Tel. 0151 356 7358
